Makalu Series

The Makalu series by VINZ is a solid (chain) lock with a tough appearance that provides excellent protection against theft of two-wheeled vehicles. The lock has a sturdy and striking yellow/black lock body and a robust, heavy chain of hardened steel. The Makalu is available in different lengths.

With the VINZ Makalu, two-wheelers can easily be attached to a fixed object, such as a lamppost or wall/ground anchor. In this way, a bicycle cannot be lifted, which reduces the risk of theft.

The heavy and solid chain of the Makalu is 42 mm thick, and has a link thickness of 10.5 mm. In addition, the chain is equipped with a sturdy protective cover to prevent paint damage. The lock body has a lockable keyhole so that rain, dirt and dust can hardly accumulate. This is the life of the lock for good!

The Makalu series is provided with the ART 4 quality rating. This means that the Makalu is suitable for most theft insurances of two wheeled vehicles (bicycles, mopeds, scooters and motorcycles). The Security Index of the Makalu is 15/16. This is the second-highest score.
